Muhammad Ijaz is one of the lucky people of Bishonai village who managed to survive the flash floods that hit on Friday morning. However, local teacher Zahoor Rehman, who saved the lives of many people including him, later succumbed to the same flash flood.
Young Zahoor Rehman worked as a teacher in a school a few kilometers from Bishnoi and was also involved as a volunteer in the welfare organization Al-Khidmat.
