US President Donald Trump on Wednesday began his unprecedented second state visit to Britain, combining royal pomp with key diplomatic talks while questions about Jeffrey Epstein continue to linger. The historic occasion is being marked with a lavish welcome by King Charles and the royal family at Windsor Castle, including a carriage procession, gun salutes, a military flypast, and a state banquet. Officials describe it as the largest ceremonial welcome for a state visit in living memory.

A known admirer of the monarchy, Trump has expressed delight at being the first US leader — and the first elected politician — invited for two such visits. He openly praised the monarch earlier this year, posting “I Love King Charles” on Truth Social, and upon arrival called Britain “a very special place.”
