75 farmers have been named in poppy cultivation in Balochistan’s Duki district. Their names have been placed on the Fourth Schedule, officials confirmed.

According to the Balochistan Home Department, the recommendation to include these individuals was made by the Deputy Commissioner of Duki. Once added, the names will remain on the Fourth Schedule for up to three years.

Under the department’s directives, each landowner will be required to provide a guarantee bond confirming that they are not involved in any terrorist activity or organization. The guarantee will include a security deposit of Rs. 500,000, which must be verified by the Deputy Commissioner (DC) or District Police Officer (DPO) before submission.

The official notification further states that while the names remain on the list, all properties owned by these landowners will be considered frozen. The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) will conduct verification and monitoring of their assets.

Additionally, the landowners must report their travel details and places of stay to the local police or the Levies station, and obtain permission before traveling. They are also required to deposit their passports with the concerned police or Levies authorities for the duration of their inclusion in the Fourth Schedule.
