Two Pakistani students, Afzal Ahmed Satti (34) and Muhammad Usman Mughal (32), have died in a suspected carbon monoxide leak at a property in Swindon, UK. Both had arrived in the UK on student visas and lived in London.

Family sources told ARY News that the gas leak came from the heating system. Both men were from Kotli Sattian, Rawalpindi.

Their funeral prayers were held today in Ilford, London, with relatives and the Pakistani community in attendance.

Afzal Ahmed is survived by his wife and two children. Usman Mughal had recently married. Their bodies will be repatriated to Pakistan for burial.

Emergency teams found both victims already deceased. Post-mortem examinations have been completed.

The local Pakistani community expressed deep shock over the tragedy.
