Oscar Piastri secured pole position at Zandvoort, edging out McLaren teammate Lando Norris by just 12 milliseconds. Despite Norris being fastest in all three practice sessions and setting a lap record in qualifying, Piastri delivered a stunning final lap to take pole and set a new lap record himself.
