Huawei has introduced a range of new products, including the Mate 80 series, the Mate X7 foldable, and the MatePad Edge tablet. Alongside these launches, the company also unveiled its latest premium TWS earbuds, the Huawei FreeBuds Pro 5.
The FreeBuds Pro 5 arrive with upgraded active noise cancellation, improved audio performance, and a new Kirin A3 chip designed to deliver better efficiency and sound accuracy. The FreeBuds Pro 5 come in Earth Gold, Frost Silver, Snow White, and Sky Blue, with the Sky Blue version offering a vegan-leather finish.

The earbuds use a dual-driver setup that combines an ultra-linear dual-magnetic bass driver with a micro-planar tweeter. Powered by the Kirin A3 chipset and NearLink E2.0 technology, the earbuds support lossless audio streaming at up to 4.6Mbps.
The FreeBuds Pro 5 work with several audio codecs, including AAC, SBC, LDAC, and L2HC. They feature an in-ear, stem-style design with silicone eartips, while the charging case adopts a pill-shaped look.
Connectivity includes Bluetooth 6.0 and support for pairing with multiple devices. The charging case carries an IP54 rating, and the earbuds themselves are IP57 rated for dust and water resistance.
Huawei claims the earbuds can last up to 8 hours on a single charge with ANC turned off, or up to 33 hours when used with the case. With ANC enabled, the earbuds offer up to 5 hours of playback or 22 hours when combined with the charging case. Earbuds are now on sale in China for $205.
