The Government of Pakistan has kept the price of petrol unchanged but increased the per litre rate of high-speed diesel for the next fortnight, effective November 15, 2025, following recommendations from the Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) and relevant ministries.
According to a statement from the Finance Division, the price of petrol (MS) will remain the same at Rs. 265.45 per liter.
High-speed diesel (HSD) will see an increase of Rs. 6 per liter, with the new price set at Rs. 284.44 per liter, compared to the previous Rs 278.44.
The revised prices will remain in effect for the second half of November.
At the last fortnightly review of petroleum prices, the price of petrol (MS) was increased by Rs. 2.43 per liter, bringing the new rate to Rs. 265.45 per liter, up from Rs. 263.02, despite a huge drop in international oil prices.
Meanwhile, diesel saw an increase of Rs. 3.02 per liter two weeks ago, which saw its new price to Rs. 265.45.
