A 5.0 magnitude earthquake struck southeastern Afghanistan on Tuesday, with tremors felt in Peshawar, Landikotal, parts of Khyber district, and Batkhela in Malakand. The quake, at a depth of 20 km, caused panic as residents rushed out of homes and shops, though no major damage has been reported so far.
