The Foreign Office said the visit highlights the “deep-rooted and brotherly ties” between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, and signals a shared commitment to expanding economic partnerships under the Saudi-Pakistan Joint Business Council framework. Pakistan is seeking to attract increased Saudi investment as it looks to bolster its economy and drive growth across key sectors.
The Saudi delegation’s meetings in Islamabad are expected to explore avenues for collaboration in priority industries, as both countries look to unlock new opportunities for bilateral trade and investment.
