‘Marvel Zombies’ showrunner explains why he did not include any references from the comics
Marvel Zombies showrunner Bryan Andrews says “all bets are off” regarding his creative approach to the series.
In an interview with Nerdist, Andrews confirmed there will be no references, homages, or Easter eggs to the comic book source material, explaining that he wants the four-episode miniseries to “be its own thing.”
When asked if he planned to replicate any specific comic moments, Andrews responded, “Not so much in this iteration of it.”
