Ousmane Dembele was named the world’s best player of the season, winning the Ballon d’Or on a triumphant night for Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). He praised PSG, coach Luis Enrique, and his teammates for their support. The 28-year-old French forward played a key role in leading PSG to their first-ever Champions League title. Dembele became the sixth French player to win the award and the first since Karim Benzema in 2022. On the same night, PSG won multiple awards, including Team of the Season, while Barcelona’s Aitana Bonmati secured her third consecutive women’s Ballon d’Or.
