The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has approved a comprehensive plan to upgrade emergency services in Islamabad Under the plan, a modern Emergency Operations Center will be established to monitor and coordinate emergency activities in real time. Twelve new rescue stations will be set up across the capital to ensure rapid response while a motorbike rescue unit with about 50 motorcycles will also be launched to improve access in congested areas.. This initiative is expected to highlight the city’s efforts in afforestation, forest conservation, and pollution control.
