The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) reported that 98% of telecom sites in Karachi affected by recent heavy rains have been restored within 72 hours. Out of 2,764 impacted sites, 2,707 are back online, with efforts ongoing to restore the remaining 57. PTA praised the swift response and coordination with telecom operators and local authorities.
