Pakistan has announced its 15-member squad for the 2025 ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup, emphasizing youth and fresh talent. Fatima Sana, 23, will captain the team in her first ODI World Cup as skipper. The squad includes six debutants, including Eyman Fatima and Sadaf Shamas, while Gull Feroza and Najiha Alvi have been moved to the reserve list.

The World Cup will be jointly hosted by India and Sri Lanka from September 30 to November 2, with all of Pakistan’s matches set to take place at Colombo’s R. Premadasa Stadium. Ahead of the tournament, Pakistan will undergo a 14-day training camp in Lahore starting August 29, followed by a three-match ODI series against South Africa from September 16 to 22—serving as their final preparation.
