Nishat Group has officially launched the highly anticipated Jaecoo J7 Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) in Pakistan, introducing the OMODA & Jaecoo brand to the local market under its subsidiary Nexgen Auto Pvt Ltd.
The launch event, held in Lahore at 6 PM, marked the beginning of a new chapter in Pakistan’s automotive sector, with a focus on new energy vehicles. The J7 PHEV was unveiled alongside the fully electric OMODA E5 and Jaecoo J6 EV, but quickly became the highlight due to its hybrid practicality and performance-focused design.
Nishat confirmed local assembly of the J7 PHEV at its upcoming Faisalabad facility, backed by a $100 million investment aimed at supporting long-term production and localization efforts. A nationwide dealer and after-sales support network has also been launched across 25+ cities.
